Thanks to all the supporters who came and watched the AA7 womens grandfinal! Well done to the girls for putting in a top performance, we were unlucky to go down in extra time. It was a great team effort right until the last whistle :) and you should all be really proud!
The womens AA7 team play their grand final this weekend (Sunday 24th) at 1.30pm at LH Waud (Meadowbank Park) and need all the supporters they can get! It will also be the last game for Social Officer of the club Sare Maher who jets off to England next year.
SUSFC's annual charity 6-a-side trounament will take place on Queen's Birthday Monday June 9th at St. John's Oval. Entry is free for SUSFC members, $5 for others.

The SUSFC Blue and Gold Dinner at the Grandstand on Friday 30 May had it all. A big crowd of supporters mixed with current and formers players were entertained in style by the mercurial Adam Spencer and his panel of experts, John Boultbee, Francis Awaritefe, Lawrie McKinna and John Kosmina.
The Womens All Age 1’s advanced though to the second round of the Football NSW State Cup on the weekend with an emphatic 3 – 0 over Chipping Norton. After negotiating the virtual spider web of red tape – including being forced to appoint 2 of spectators as crowd control for our third (things must get a bit rowdy down that way) we finally got underway.
The Uni women put the foot on the accelerator this weekend with a 5/2/1 record, scoring 20 goals and conceding only 4. The 5s proved that last weeks result against the BYE wasn’t just good luck and powered through their opposition this week. The 3’s and 11’s notched up there first wins in emphatic fashion with an impressive 12 and 0 for against stat.
It has been a long time coming, but we finally have a win under our belts. For some of the oldies in the team it has been two whole seasons since we have had a win and man did it feel good!!!!!!
A mixed bag of results in the All Age Women in the First Round of the NWSWF League. Highlights included a strong showing in both reserve and first grade of the newly formed NWSWF Premier League and an 8-0 lesson handed out by the AA7's to Holy Cross. The AA5's and 9s put the BYE to the sword and will look to continue this great form into the next round.
